The manager became quite rude and dismissive, insinuated that I was trying it on and refused to take anything into account. I did say that the Costco return policy stated otherwise, and in light of the reason (and the £700 I spent the day before) returning 5 chilled items and another 5 dry goods products is hardly going to bankrupt Costco. The manager appeared and refused, stating that he can't take back chilled products, what kind of business would do that etc. I returned to the warehouse yesterday to return the items, the person at the till explained she needed to speak to the manager. There were some dry goods and some chilled. On Sunday I purchased a large amount of products however when I returned home my wife informed me that I needed to return a few of the things I purchased - due to allergy issues.

Not worth the faff on of having to disassemble it, box it back up, and drive 15 miles to ask for a replacement or refund so I've spent £8 on some heat resistant paint and will repair it, but this will make me much more wary of future purchases at Costco.Ĭostco Return Policy - all down to manager discretion Today I've just had a chiminea delivered ("hot buy" at £240, so again, not cheap budget tat supposedly) and when I was half way through the assembly I noticed that the rim of the hood was dented in 3 or 4 places and the enamel paint had thus peeled. However, I bought a foldable swinging camping chair there which seemed top notch (about £40-£50 so not the cheapest) and although it seemed really well made, after a year it split along one seam rendering it useless (last summer). Until recently not only have we been over the moon with the prices, but the goods have been of exceptional quality. We've always loved Costco and spent quite some money there on randow impulse purchases over the years.
